Jabra Drive Bluetooth Speaker for iPod Touch

Perhaps a revelation?! The Jabra DRIVE bluetooth speaker, paired to your iPod Touch or iPad and then clipped onto the communicator's lapel or hung on a lanyard, to amplify the augmented speaker's message despite relatively puny mobile device speakers.

After a simple "pairing" process in the iPad Settings menu (under Bluetooth), the speaker automatically mutes your iDevice and projects the audio output through it's speaker.

A pretty good sound, and emanating from the relative direction of the communicator's face. We at Villa Esperanza Services are very interested in the potential for an external speaker to direct the attention of the communication partner away from the device and toward the face of the communicator...Could be an effective avenue? What a great research study! Any takers?

Many thanks to Mary Ann Abbott for this great Jabra Drive tip!
