Online! Today at 2:00! PRC Vocabulary Builder Training

VOCABULARY BUILDER™
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This session will focus on Vocabulary Builder, a therapeutic tool designed to easily teach new vocabulary in sequenced Unity. To understand Vocabulary Builder, participants should have a basic understanding of Unity prior to the class. The hour long session will provide an overview of the tool including ways to use it in therapy and other activities. It will also explain how to load and merge pre-stored vocabulary sequence sets, mask vocabulary to create new sets (lists) of targeted vocabulary, and save the sets that have been created.
If using a device during this session, it is highly suggested that the software versions are as follows:
Vantage™ Lite version 5.06 or higher
ECO™2 version 2.07 or higher

For information on how to update your device, please visit our website at: http://www.prentrom.com/support and click on “Software Updates” on the right side of the screen. Select the device and the update and follow the instructions.
BE SURE TO DO A MEMORY TRANSFER OF THE DEVICE TO A USB FLASHDRIVE (TAKE A BACKUP) PRIOR TO THE UPDATE!!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION & SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  • PRC Device or laptop running PRC PASS software
  • Notify us of any special accommodations or if you will be using a screen reader while participating in our courses.
  • Windows® or Mac® computer
  • Internet connection (broadband is best)
  • Microphone and speakers (built-in or USB headset)
  • Most computers have built-in microphones and speakers, but you will get much better audio quality if you use a headset or handset.  You can also make calls on your land-line or mobile device.

Only one person per computer station needs to submit registration information.  If you are registering more than one computer station, a separate registration with a different name must be completed for each computer station.

Confirmation and participation details will be e-mailed to you shortly after your registration is completed. We request that you join the class 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to ensure that you are ready when the instructor begins the presentation.

For Mac-Based Organizers and Attendees
  • Required: Mac OS® X 10.5 (Leopard®), OS® X 10.6 (Snow Leopard®), OS® X 10.7 (Lion®) or OS® X 10.8 (Mountain Lion®)
