Presenters: Jamie Crum, Med, ECSE, has over 22 years experience removing barriers for individuals with complex communication, physical access and developmental disabilities. He has presented at international and local conferences on assistive technology, education and augmentative alternative communication (AAC) systems. Jamie strives to find creative solutions for families, support staff, and programs as they support individuals with complex communication needs.
This training webinar will address the following questions:

What is AAC, Alternative and Augmentative Communication?

What technologies are available to help young children?

What prerequisite skills are required for young children to benefit from an AAC system?

What can I do with this Ipad/Android Tablet to help my child communicate?

Is funding for Speech Generating Devices (SGD) available? 

Where can I get an AAC Evaluation?
