Key Guards for the iPad

Lasered Pics has been producing acrylic key guards for the iPad for over a year now, and they are ready and able to make your custom key guard for around $19.95.  They manufacture key guards for ProLoQuo2Go (various sized buttons, scroll slits incorporated), TouchChat (15 and 24 location), Speak-It (text-to-speech). The acrylic tends to be somewhat brittle for the layouts with more buttons (e.g., Speak-It), but they tailor to a variety of cases for iPads version 1 and 2 (Big Grip, Otterbox Defender, AMDi iAdapter).
Beyond Adaptive now has key guards of their own, made of a somewhat stronger polycarbonate. Shown above is their 24-location guard for TouchChat HD with WordPower. They also make a variety of layouts, and the cost is $28. Here you see their key guard hinged to their Basic iPad Variable Friction Arm Kit with Quick Action Clamp ($421 for the set).
