Pasadena Child Development Associates celebrated the launch of their AAC Center tonight with an open house! They showcased a number of AAC options, access, and communicative contexts for interaction. One highlight was the Plate Switch. It's an ultra-thin membrane switch and is highly sensitive to light touch. It can be slipped under static visual targets, pages of a book, or mounted positions.
