- Guided video observation and assessment using the ICF-CY guidelines (World Health Organization) presented by Sharon Rogers, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
- AAC decision making, presented by Mary Ann Abbott, SLP.D., CCC-SLP, ATP, and technology demonstrations from Prentke Romich, Dynavox, Words+, and tobii/ATI
- Hands-on time and demonstration with devices and representatives
- A discussion of funding options for speech generating devices presented by Gwendolyn Meier, MA, CCC-SLP, MT-BC
Workshop participants were given the opportunity to join the Southern California Augmentative and Alternative Communication Network (SCAAC-N) via a voluntary, free sign-up sheet.
