Play Tube App - Thanks Mary Ann Abbott!

SO...you have access to a wireless network, but YouTube is blocked with a firewall (probably a safe move, for all involved). Mary Ann Abbott, SLP.D, AT Specialist, has an app for you!

Play Tube allows you to Cache YouTube videos as a sort of "favorites" list (via wireless), and slip past the YouTube firewall. You still need access to wireless in order to view the Cache and the videos, but this app appears to bypass the firewall.

It's worked for Mary Ann! Let us know if it works for you!

If you're planning to attend the CSHA annual convention in Long Beach, March 7-10, don't miss Mary Ann's session "Devices, and Tablets, and iPads, Oh My! AAC Assessment to Implementation" (link to full description), Friday morning, 10:00-11:30.
